Eighteen Visions Announce First UK Tour in 11 Years
Metal band Eighteen Visions recently announced their reunion, and signed to Rise Records. The band announced a small UK tour for November in support of their long-awaited new album XVIII.
Eighteen Visions will be playing in London, Glasgow and Manchester later this year, and talking about the groups first UK shows in eleven years, singer James Hart said:
The band's new album, XVIII, is a recharged, blistering battle cry, liberated from outside expectations and driven by the band's own artistic narrative, it's a powerful record which boasts the full potential of Eighteen Visions.
The album was produced in Orange County with UK Producer Mick Helm, the close relationship between the band and producer played a massive part in the success of the album, and in emphasising their unique sound.
One of the many highlights of XVIII, is Live Again, a heartfelt tribute to Eighteen Visions' late bassist, Mick Morris, who passed in 2013. Stand out songs also include Picture Perfect, an assault on fakery and wolves in sheep's clothing, and Fake Leather Jacket, which throws a brick through the window of the modern music industry. The album is angry, threatening and self assured.
