Seventeen new bands have been announced for the highly anticipated 2000 Trees Festival. The event, which takes place from the 12th to 14th of July in Cheltenham, today announced that Ho99o9, The Xcerts, Black Peaks, SLØTFACE, Hellions, Dream State, Press to Meco, Fangclub, Gallops, Nervus, Black Futures, Gender Roles, Bitch Falcon, Lady Bird, Sun Arcana, Haggard Cat and Sean McGowan.
The festival has already announced the phenomenal Enter Shikari and At The Drive In as headliners, as well as bands including Creeper, Basement, Arcane Roots and Hell Is For Heros.
Speaking about the festival, The Xcerts said:
Festival organiser James Scarlett has expressed his excitement regarding this years line up below:
“We’ve gone big this year with our headliners, but the thing I’m the most proud of is the less well known, up-and-coming bands on the line up. 2000trees Festival is the place to discover your new favourite band so everyone needs to go and check out our Spotify playlist now. My personal recommendations are Chapter and Verse, Fangclub, Gender Roles and Conjurer, but I can promise you that all the bands are amazing!”
In previous years 2000trees has hosted bands including Slaves, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Nothing But Thieves, Twin Atlantic, Frank Turner, Wolf Alice and more. As well as boasting a line up of well known and established bands within rock and indie, the festival also prides itself on supporting the UK music scene and allowing new bands the chance to perform infront of thousands of people.
The festival takes place on Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of July, at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, day tickets are available at £60, along with weekend tickets for £115, for full info and to purchase tickets click here.
